Test and Tune. Track will be open from 4-6pm for tuning. Only one lane will be open because we do not allow racing until race day!

Check In. 6-8pm at Westminster Towers.

Racing starts 9am Saturday and lasts until 1pm. Must be present to race and in uniform.

Bring money for Hotdog Lunch and Cotton Candy!

Christmas Carols at Westminster Towers – 2011

As in years past, Pack 205 lines up and files into Westminster Towers to sing Christmas Carols to the residents. It is always fun to hear everyone sing and fellowship together. If you were not fortunate enough to be there last night, not a problem. It was recorded for everyone to hear.

Rooms in Charleston for Patriot’s Point Trip

Janice Blocker was kind enough to follow up and arrange some room deals if you and your family would like to go down Friday night instead of Saturday morning for our USS Yorktown Trip. Details Below.

Janice Writes:

I have blocked discounted rooms for individuals who what to go down Friday night December 9th to Charleston SC.. near the USS Yorktown.

Each hotel is reserved with non smoking rooms, 2 beds in the room and each hotel offers free breakfast. The hotel rates do not include the 12.5 percent taxes or additional surcharges. The block of rooms are only available until the 9th of November and then the rooms not booked will be released back into the system for the hotels to sell at whatever rate they choose.

The Best Western is available for booking directly with the hotel at 843-971-7070. The rate is $75.00 per night before taxes. They are not set up to book via the computer system.

Update: 

The Hampton Inn Charleston/Mt. Pleasant -Patriots Point just sent their link and they have created an actual website for our Cubscout group..They have left an option for those spouses who did not want to stay on the ship for an additional night.. so the dates are 9dec-11dec on the website. If the family wants to stay for one night only.. there is an area on the date section to modify the check out date.

 

Here is the link and final hotel to put on the cubscout website. If the demand is there and all rooms at all reserved hotels sell out , I will look for another hotel if needed.

Pack Meeting 9-13-2011

Last night we had a great pack meeting. It was lots of fun as you can see the kids couldn’t contain themselves and were dancing in the isles.

A few things from lastnight meeting:

Popcorn fundraising has started. If you would like to send emails and links for others to purchase popcorn online you can do so through the Trails-End website here. Click the sign-up or create account in the upper right of the page. All orders for Popcorn need to be returned at the Pack Meeting on October 11th.

Sign up sheets for Gold Rush 2011 can be found here, as well as forms for the USS Yorktown trip here.

Scouting for food is on November 5th when we put bags out, and November 12th when we pick them all up.

 

Troop 205 spells BBQ

Scouts and Leaders of Troop 205 are selling BBQ tickets to raise needed
funds for a new Troop trailer and much other equipment.

• Eastern NC Style Vinegar Based Pulled BBQ Turkey
• The 1 lb containers are suitable for freezer and microwave usage
